Team - Michel Verhasselt

MICHEL VERHASSELT

Founder & President/CEO

Holder of a Master's degree in business administration and health economics from the Université catholique de Lille, he founded Meditech Access in 2012.

Michel is a recognised and experienced expert in the field of health economics, market access, coding (activity-based pricing and PMSI) and reimbursement. For almost 30 years, he has held positions, both internationally and locally, for the medical device industry, healthcare providers and insurance companies. He has contributed his expertise to renowned companies such as Johnson and Johnson, Baxter, Linde, Allianz/Mondial Assistance and Edward Lifesciences.

He has successfully managed the financing and reimbursement of groundbreaking innovations such as transcutaneous aortic valves (TAVI) in France, Benelux and Switzerland. He has developed an expertise in market access in various therapeutic areas, including diabetes, renal therapies, medical gases, wound healing, pain, respiratory, intensive care, interventional cardiology and e-health.

NOLWENN CLÉMENT-RIO

Associate Director – Market Access France & Belgium

A Doctor of Pharmacy and holder of a Master's degree in Market Access & Health Economics from Paris Sud University, Nolwenn brings over six years of experience in medical device market access, gained at consulting firm MedConsult and then at Penumbra, where she led reimbursement strategies for France and the BeNeLux region and negotiated directly with the CEPS. With expertise spanning HTA submissions, hospital pricing, exceptional funding pathways (Forfait Innovation, RIHN, PRME) and emerging technologies (AI, robotics, digital health), she joined MediTech Access in October 2025 as Associate Director to strengthen the firm's strategic offering in France and Belgium.

DIANA BIRLAN

Senior Market Access - Consultant

Diana joined the MediTech Access team in 2024, as a consultant. She has a double degree, in Biomedical Engineering and in Market Access. She has a 10-year experience in the Medical Device industry, in several therapeutic areas such as ENT, anesthesia, ICU, surgery, cardiology, radiotherapy...

She is currently working on a wide range of strategic projects concerning market access, pricing and tariffs negotiations for medical devices in all types of therapeutic areas.

Team - Julien Cirot

JULIEN CIROT

Market Access - Consultant

Julien is a pharmacist by training, with a degree from the University of Nantes. He discovered market access during his first internship at Oviva, where he worked on obtaining early reimbursement for a digital medical device (DTx) for the treatment of obesity.

He joined the Master 2 in Medical and Economic Evaluation and Market Access (EMAM) at Université Paris Dauphine-PSL in 2023, which he completed on a work-study basis with Medtronic. Passionate about innovation in healthcare, Julien joined MediTech Access in 2024.

Team - Amine Yahia

AMINE YAHIA

Market Access - Consultant

In November 2023, Amine joined the team MediTech Access as a consultant. Currently engaged in nationwide market access projects, he is dedicated to various therapeutic areas, making a substantial contribution to the valuation of medical devices and digital health products.

In addition to his pharmacist title, Amine also holds a Master's degree in General Economics from the University of Paris-Cité, followed by a Master's degree in Economics Outcomes Research & Market Access from the University of Dauphine.

Team - Romane Le Cam

ROMANE LE CAM

Market Access - Consultant

Romane is a Doctor of Pharmacy from Paris Saclay University, holding a Master's degree in Health Economics & Market Access from Paris-Dauphine University. She first joined MediTech Access in April 2024 as a fifth-year pharmacy intern, where she discovered the consulting profession and developed her market access expertise across a wide range of therapeutic areas and medical device types, including digital health solutions. Building on this formative experience, she continued as a work-study consultant for one year alongside her sixth year of pharmacy studies. Romane officially joined the team as a full consultant in September 2025 — a true MediTech Access homegrown talent.

JULIE MESNIL

Market Access Consultant

Julie is a pharmacist by training from the University of Rouen and holder of a Master's degree in Market Access & Health Technology Assessment (Lyon 1), Julie gained solid experience in medical device market access during her work-study program at Stryker, where she managed reimbursement applications (LPP Title V, Brand Name), and at Implicity, a cardiac remote monitoring MedTech company. She joined MediTech Access in November 2025 with a strong commitment to supporting patient access to innovation in digital health and medical devices.

Team - Aurane Aparicio

AURANE APARICIO

Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) - Consultant

Aurane is an HEOR consultant and a Ph.D. student in economics. Her work focuses on market design, mechanism design, and game theory. In HEOR, she works on the analysis and utilization of healthcare databases, as well as on data coding and structuring. She is proficient in Excel, R, and several other statistical tools, enabling her to turn complex data into actionable analyses.

Lecutiez Mériadec

MÉRIADEC LECUTIEZ

Market Access Consultant - Intern

Mériadec is a fifth-year pharmacy student at the Faculty of Nantes. He has discovered the pharmaceutical industry and market access through dozens of student forums and events. Curious and motivated, he secured an internship at MediTech in February 2026 for a duration of four months. He completed this internship to learn more about the consulting field and the medical device sector. Involved in several associative mandates as a treasurer, he is particularly interested in health economics and pricing.

Team - Marion Jouan

MARION JOUAN

Administrative & Financial Manager

Marion joined MediTech Access in 2016. Her mission is to plan, manage and organise the administrative, financial and accounting activities of the company. She coordinates the proper execution of the strategy and procedures defined with the general management.

With a non-specialist graduate background, Marion began her career in marketing and communication in the media field. Involved in the creation of a small French business start-up, she decided to turn to corporate administration, delivering outsourced services for seven years.

MARIE-HELENE NICOLAS

Administrative Assistant

Marie-Hélène joined our team in 2023 to strengthen our Administrative Department. She is an experienced management professional, having worked as Director of the Saint-Louis Center within the Senegalese Association for the Protection of Mentally Handicapped Children from 2016 to 2020.
